About Kelley Skar

I have been a resident of the Northern Hills for Seven of my Eight years here in Calgary, all of which have been in Panorama Hills. This is a great community and I am proud to call it my home.

This section is the “About” section of the site and so I am going to tell you just a little about me and my philosophy on the real estate industry.  I guess I could start by saying that I am originally from Prince George, BC, which is commonly referred to as BC's Northern Capital. I moved to Alberta in 1998 and never looked back as I have set down roots here in Calgary with my wife and our beautiful twins.

And now my philosophy and why I created this website for our Northwest community. For too long REALTORS® have focused the majority of their marketing efforts on showing how and why they are a “community expert” mostly by buying up as many bus benches as they can in each community. They have focused on the “free market evaluation” as providing something of value to the consumer.

This website is less about self promotion and more about the communities that you will see featured here as well as the businesses and the people. I hope to show you how vibrant our community is through my constant video blog and written blog on the different things to do and experience in the Northwest. Of course there is a real estate component to this site and I hope that you utilize this site for the search of your next home in the Northern Hills.

I see this website as promoting a community, a lifestyle and the people that make the Northwest what it is over promoting myself or any type of giveaway that was free to begin with.
