AMICIS ITALIAN GRILL

Amicis Italian Grill is located about 4 doors down from Sobeys just off Country Hills Boulevard, in fact if you weren't looking for it you may have missed it altogether. This would be a crying shame is Amicis is by far one of my most favorite Italian Restaurants in the city. They are family owned and operated and offer a very friendly atmosphere as well as a delicious menu. Well known for their pizza, Amicis also offers a variety of different dishes, however their specialty is pasta. Try one of my favorites, the Jambalaya, when you pop in for dinner or lunch.

PALERMOS FAMILY RESTAURANT

Palermos, as the name suggests, specializes in Italian cuisine. Located in Coventry Hills, Palermo's is a place you can bring the whole family to enjoy some of their very affordable menu including pasta starting at $7.95 and their fantastic pizza starting at $9.75.

DRAGON GARDEN

Dragon Garden is one of a few Chinese Restaurants that you will find in the Northern Hills. Conveniently locatedon Harvest Hills boulevard the Dragon Garden offers you the typical Canadianized chinese food with menu items such as ginger beef, beef satay, and chicken fried rice. I am not a critic, but I would say check them out for an affordable alternative.

LOUIS CLASSIC PIZZA

Louis Pizza, as the name suggests, specializes in pizza and delivery. Not a sit down type of restaurant, they offer more of a home made style pizza instead of what you get from some of the bigger brands out there.

T POT CHINA BISTRO

T Pot is known throughout the Northern Hills for their Dim Sum get there early because there is usually a line up to get in the door. T Pot is located on Harvest Hills Boulevard and is incredibly easy location to get to.

STONEHILL PUB AND RESTAURANT

The Stonehill Restaurant and Tavern is by far one of the best restaurants in the Northern Hills community. It brings with it a certain class and elegance yet down home feel to it. The menu is vast, affordable and delicious. The same people that own the Redwater also own this great addition to the Northern Hills communit.

WODDYS PUB

Woody's Taphouse is your typical Canadian pub and is very conveniently located just off Country Hills and has their patio next to the gorgeous ponds and walking paths. The food is what you would expect at a pub, the beer is cold, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting.

MOTHERS PIZZA

Mother's pizza is in a great location and serves the communities of the Northern Hills as well as Beddington, Huntington Hills, Macewan, Sandstone, Hidden Valley, Kincora, Evanston and Hampstead. They serve one of my favorite dishes from my childhood that I have had a hard time finding in Calgary, the Panzerotti.

TAURUS VIETNAMESE

Pho Taurus is located just off Country Hills Boulevard and is one of a handful of Vietnamese restaruants in the Northern Hills.

Ricky's is not just famous for breakfast anymore. Over the past few years they have gained quite a reputation for themselves based on our appetizing lunch and dinner menu. As a matter of fact, we've evolved into one of Western Canada's premiere, mid-scale family restaurants. They are conveniently located off Country Hills boulevard close to Woody's Pub.

TUDOR ROSE PUB

We are your Neighborhood Pub; cozy fireplaces, warm service and foods that touch your soul. You can watch the game on our 23 large TVs while choosing from our array of 22 Draught beers(many of which are imports) or cuddle with your favorite someone with a bottle of Schug Chardonnay on our comfy couches in front of a roaring fire. Daily Lunch Specials Monday-Friday $9.95. We are also a family restaurant and allow minors daily until 8pm.

Pizza Cottage is a cost effective alternative and is conveniently located in the Gates of Panorama Hills. You can pizza by the slice(where do you get this anymore?) and also by the pie.

TIM HORTONS

Tim Hortons is Canada's most popular restaurant for coffee and pastries. They also serve breakfast that ends at 11am as well as meals for lunch and dinner. There are 3 locations in the Northern Hills that you can get to very easily.

STARBUCKS

There are not as many Starbucks in the Northern Hills as there are Tim Hortons but with two locations, do we really need any more?

QUIZNOS SUB

Quiznos makes bold, toasty, delicious sub sandwiches to stuff your face and fill your belly. BOSTON PIZZA

Boston Pizza began in Edmonton, Alberta on August 12, 1964 when Greek immigrant Gus Agioritis opened Boston Pizza and Spaghetti House. By 1970, Boston Pizza had 17 locations in Western Canada, 15 of which were franchised. The original location was located at 5515 137 Avenue Northwest.

LITTLE CAESARS PIZZA

Little Caesars Pizza was founded by Michael and Marian Ilitch on May 8, 1959. The first location was a strip mall in Garden City, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit. Mike wanted to call it simply "Pizza Treat," but Marian wanted a name that suited Mike. Marian considered Mike her "little Caesar". Mike ultimately relented, and the store opened as "Little Caesar's Pizza Treat." The original store is still open today.

Western Pizza was founded in 1976, by Jim Bonis, with a single 1,500 square foot restaurant. The business prospered as a result of his focus on great customer service, quality ingredients and most importantly by offering large portions of great pizza at a reasonable price.
