Lillia has always had a passion for dressmaking, design, and fashion. After completing dressmaking college in Estonia, she went on to receive her Bachelor’s of Education from Herzen University in St. Petersburg, Russia. Her professional journey began as a teacher of dressmaking and design at a leading college in Estonia. After 10 years of teaching, she moved to Canada and in 1991 started Lillia’s Dressmaking. Since then, she has worked with major Bridal and Designer Boutiques, providing quality service and supporting the Calgary fashion community.
